I'm just wondering and out of curiosity if it is possible to get a state license or certificate in order to get a job with DACA? (not a driver's license) Is it even possible to have a licensed or certified job with DACA?

Some have successfully obtained Real Estate license in California. I am sure that other licenses are easy.

So, teaching license is also obtainable for DACA? I heard some of them require green card or citizenship

Depends on the state and on the license, you'd need to check with the agency responsible in your state. Or at least tell us which state and which license.

I wanted to get a security guard license in NY - can't do it, they require permanent residency. However if I were in Georgia they require none as long as you're not armed.

Oh I see. I live in NY and I expect much more restrictive requirements in here than other states such as Georgia.

Great. Are you working in that field right now? Is it even possible to get a license from different state? Do I need to prove that I'm a resident at a certain state or something?
