That's really cool, I hope she can help me too but I haven't received anything back from her.

I understand that feeling. I just want to move on with my life and be happy. We all deserve this. USCIS doesn't take our future or applications seriously. We are just another number to them.

Thank you.. On the USCIS page it states this: Do not use this form G-639:

To determine the status of pending applications. (For status inquires, write to the USCIS office where the application was filed or call our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.)

Does this matter txgirl???

Nope... because you are not telling uscis " Hey guys im sending this form so you can tell me whats going on with case" ...so they have no reason to believe that you are doing it for that purpose.

Also if your case is over 45 days beyond the processing time and you've tried everything else, you can contact the USCIS Obudsman for help: http://www.dhs.gov/ombudsman-case-assistance

Sometimes when a DACA app is taking a long to be approved it's because the officer has to get your previous files from other departments.... You don't want two different offices fighting for your file and sending it back and forth because it could delay your case. When you send a USCIS FOIA they have to go through your USCIS files to send them to you on a CD. I'm not sure if this means the FOIA officer has to ask for your files as well, but it's something to keep in mind so I wouldn't do it unless necessary.

AGAIN this was just something i found that another person did on their case and were able to get a quickly response not only to the FOIA but to their DACA. I am NOT saying everyone go do this now... its up to each of you to decide if you do it or not.

After waiting almost longer than 17 months I don't really care who fights for it. I just want them to get shit done. They've had more than enough time to get there heads out of their asses. I just want my approval.

I understand what you're trying to tell us but at this point I've waited way to long. There is nothing being done about long waits like mine and nobody even tries to help us. Its impossible to get any decent help at this point. I will try anything just to get a decent reply to way my case is not moving forward.

Thank you
