Sometimes when a DACA app is taking a long to be approved it's because the officer has to get your previous files from other departments.... You don't want two different offices fighting for your file and sending it back and forth because it could delay your case. When you send a USCIS FOIA they have to go through your USCIS files to send them to you on a CD. I'm not sure if this means the FOIA officer has to ask for your files as well, but it's something to keep in mind so I wouldn't do it unless necessary. |

I did my 2nd Ombudsman request maybe like a month ago. It didn't help at all. They wrote me the same thing that my E-request had already written me. They are extremely horrible at helping people in cases like ours.
