I concur. It does happen in a lot of forums. I feel that, unless there is a sticky about it, a lot of times the info changes with time and info that was relevant a year ago might not be relevant today. Also, new members that probably didn't read old posts might have new insight on the topic.

Also, if everybody only asked completely new questions, this wouldn't be a forum...It would be a stagnant reference guide with no tailored answers that a lot of us seek for our particular situations. No situation is exactly the same. Given the importance of an immigration status, a lot of us want to be sure that that ONE DETAIL that's different in our case from a case 100 threads ago doesn't harm us.

I attended an AILA conference just last year. Several of the legal representatives brought many of their files in which Advanced Parole was used to cure Unlawful Presence (212(a)(6)(c)(I) only) by using a petition filed by their U.S. Citizen spouse. So yes, it can cure the 10 year bar in certain instances.
