Alright guys, I need some insight with my DACA process. I recently got approved for my EAD - February 19th ( It said card went into production etc) and on February 20th got approved for my DACA. I received the notice for DACA on February 24th but nothing at all for EAD. On March 3rd my EAD updated and said, On March 3, 2014 card went into production etc. That's the last update and I don't know what's causing the delay. Anyone have this issue? I looked through the threads on the forum but nothing. Last Friday, Feb 28th I called USCIS and spoke to a L2 immigration officer. I told him that my card hasn't been sent out and I haven't even received a 765 approval letter. He told me there was no approval letter that they send out (Just DACA letter and card ) and long story short he said he'll put a request on my case but it won't be touched for another 2 weeks (the request). So anyone know what's going on...?

Thanks in advance

Congrats on getting approved. Maybe they made a mistake with your name and card and had to produce a new one. I think it does say that it can take up to 30 days to receive to your EAD from the date when it went into production. I am sure you will get it in no time since you called USCIS as well. Good luck.

Yep. Sounds like an error when printing the EAD, as long as you see it updating on the USCIS website and you know what's going on. They should be sending one soon and will update you with a tracking number.

Thanks guys, yea I hope so. It updated today to post-decision activity and mailed me the approval letter I guess. Let's hope I get it soon.

I applied last March.

I didn't want to make a new thread but I wanted input from you guys that have been through this process already.

I got my EAD card on Saturday and went to social security office this morning to apply for a SSN. I figured that 10 day waiting period didn't matter because on my card its says I was approved 2/19 so its been more than 10 days. The guy that helped me asked a bunch of questions - "have you applied for food stamps" "other govt help" etc and I said "no." Towards then end he said he couldn't process my application and needed to verify my EAD and documents (I gave him EAD, school ID and birth certificate - passport is expired) with INS. He said he would do it electronically and would know in a couple days if it'll go through otherwise he would do have to mail everything in and they would verify it manual which will take a few weeks more. I know I've seen many people either get their SS process with receipt saying you'll get it in two weeks or a receipt saying that it'll take a few weeks because they have to verify it manually. Shed light on this electronic process..? I asked for a receipt saying I've applied but he said all it would say it that they couldn't process my application and needed to e-verify it with INS and that receipt wouldn't do me any good for now.

Thanks in advance
