What would i need my girlfriend is a us citizen where looking to get married and apply for my residency does advance parole help with ewi
what forms to fill out am approved with daca does she have to be working we dont know where to start from do we need a lawyer

if you are EWI, Advance Parole will help you take care of that. Changing your status with AP is a lot easier than with EWI.

so if i do AP i do not have to leave to mexico

If you do AP, you do have to leave to Mexico. It helps you if you came in illegally, because it is the easiest way to come in legally. If you can afford to, I recommend getting a good lawyer. My wife just received her green card last week thanks to the process that you want to try.

so how long would it take for me to get my green card when i do AP

Another thing I recommend, if you guys plan to get married, do it ASAP. Open up a bank account together, get bills under both names, etc. Once you get your interview with immigration, you will have to show them that.

It takes about 3 months from when you submit your application for residency. But after AP, you can submit your application ASAP. My wife waited 3 months after returning from Mexico to apply for residency. but it was for financial reasons.

I'm not sure cause we had a lawyer through the whole process. But you do need to have a valid reason to have to leave. My wife's mother was ill at the time and got a doctor's letter and that's how she got AP.
