aww that is horrible. I cannot believe it has taken that long but look at this way at least its "pending" and unlike others you were able to apply. I am not sure if this was asked to you already but what if (if it was possible) for you to submit a new application?

I wouldn't unless I was denied (which, is always a possibility). I just hope I don't go over the 12 month mark, but the way things are looking, I think I might.

Plus, I don't know what to do, I've contacted everyone that people have posted here, Congressman, Ombudsman, e-request, director, assistant's, Nebraska SC...I just want an answer.

I hadn't realized you had contacted that many people. If anything your case should have been processed quickly, or at the very least looked at. Hopefully you get it soon! The forum in general has been pretty quiet these last weeks so I wonder if the majority has heard back.

Well, most of the people have been approved, so they leave and never come back (most), which is very egoistic (bottom of the moral development stages, but we won't start an argument about that ).

Since I have an arrest (but NO criminal record anyways) my case had to go through all that stuff that some documents that people have posted here say. So yeah, hopefully I'll get approved soon, I don't really wanna go over the 12-month mark, I'm ready to go crazy if I don't get a new job.

Has anyone been approved lately?

Hello everyone, wanted to update everyone on my case, I was FINALLY approved after almost a year. Hope all of the others April '13 applicants get approved soon.

Thanks hope you get approved too. I noticed I left a few things out that might be relevant to others. On 12/26/13 I sent an e-request or whatever you call it. Heard back On January 6th 2014 with the standard reply "we're working on your case etc.. If you don't hear from us in 6 months check back etc..". On March 3rd they sent an REF rendering to a criminal case I had in 2003, I was arrested back then for driving with a suspended license(I didn't know it was suspended, long story and got arrested). The REF was for a letter of disposition about my case I guess I never sent. So went to get the letter, gave to my attorney on March 10th and by March 28 was approved. Received the approval letter on March 31st, hope this information helps anyone, if you have any questions feel free to ask. Btw does anyone know how long does it usually take to get the work permit and the official approval letter in the fancy green paper my friends told about?

That just keeps confirming that 'criminal cases' cases are going to take longer no matter what.
