Hey people,

Calm yourselves this is not an April Fool's Joke. The letter states my DACA app I sent in 2012 is approved and that starting the mailing date of this letter (March 2014), my DA has been renewed for 2 years. It says nothing about EAD. The strange part is why is my DACA approved twice from the 2012 application?

I have no idea what's going on. Im not sure if I have to reapply all over again or just the EAD. I will check with my attorney and get back to yall.

Maybe you can show us the letter? You can blur personal info.

Well according to OP:

I am guessing I am part of the 2nd wave, not the current individuals eligible for renewal?
Although I HIGHLY doubt this automatic extension.. maybe it makes some sense. He seems to have been one of the very first ones to get approved. As of now he's got roughly under 5 months before his DACA/EAD expires. Just within the 4 month prior allowed renewal frame.

It might be a notice to inform you that you're DACA is about to expire? Which is pretty unlikely.
OR maybe on the brighter, yet realistic side, what if our DACA does get renewed/extended automatically? And the reason the letter said nothing about EAD is because we would only need to resubmit our I-765 and WS again? Which would mean we would still have to redo our biometrics.. hence repay 465 for our EAD and bio. Again, this is just a theory.. it could be anything. Just trying to come up with a rational explanation here.. nahh who am I kidding? OP is probably just a troll.. d-_-b

Mine expires in September. In that case, what am I? Third wave?

Plus, I have moved from the location I used to live in when I applied for DACA. If that letter does come to me, it'll come to the wrong address. I am sure I am not the only one ho has moved either. From what I recall, there isn't any way to update our addresses either. So, this shouldn't work out for everyone...

In that statement OP was actually referring to ICE applicants as the the first wave. That was the response to the renewal process that came out for applicant that were approved BEFORE August 15, 2012, which ONLY includes people who were in the removal process. So you being approved sep2012 I would say is still technically the first wave as well as OP.

You need to get your address changed on the website ASAP!
You're actually legally obliged to update your address within 10 days after your move, but it's okay because in the form they don't really ask you the date of your move. There are 2 options of updating your address, the LINK I posted above.. OR u can fill out the AR-11 form and mail it to them.

SPOILER ALERT: Submitting it out online is faster. JS! Cuz you get a conformation number and everything. I called USCIS to confirm the address change but they said they cannot discuss personal information on the phone and that I'm actually supposed to receive a confirm letter in the mail on new address within 30 days. Still waiting on mine, only been around 2 weeks now. So if any one of you guys have moved since and haven't updated your address yet, I strongly suggest you do so, while you still have plenty of leeway time.

I actually did this online a few days ago too. Let me know if you receive anything in the mail.
