Greetings fellow Dreamers,

As I stated in the thread's title, the company I'm working for is requiring me
to relocate for 8 months to North Dakota. I'm currently living in California
and I'm a DACA beneficiary. My question is as follows:

Would there be any consequences if I move out of California to North Dakota for that amount of time? I will be renewing my DACA this year as it expires on March of next year.

I don't want to make any drastic changes if it involves my status being compromised in
one way or another.

A quick response would be greatly appreciated, as the day to relocate is next Tuesday.

Thank You!

No. You're still in the United States and you have a valid reason for the move. I would just notify USCIS of your move through their change of address service. Other than that I see no issues.

I'm working with Protection One, so all we're getting is a shared apartment.
I will be moving back home on November, pretty much I wont have any bills
as the company will be taking care of everything including rent. And our pay will be
made electronically. Do I still need to report the address change?

I would suggest that you do not make the change of address with USCIS as your stay in N.Dakota is obviously temporary. As for your question, it doesnt matter if you move around it will not affect your DACA.

I did the change of address online and there's a place where you can enter how long you'll be at the new address if it's temporary.

The only reason to submit a change of address in thus situation is if you no longer had access to the address on file. Otherwise since it's temporary, there should be no issue

I dont see any issue. Unless you're gonna travel further north into the maple syrup woods of Canada, then yes.

Just notify USCIS about the change.

I agree no need jeopardize missing any sort of mail by switching addresses if you are able to keep a permanent address in CA i wouldnt worry about doing the change. I currently live in a different city from the place i initially applied and have not made the change because i believe my parents address is a more safe address to maintain.
