College grad awaiting DACA

Hi everyone!

I am new to the forum!

Just a brief summary about me: Graduated university with a Bachelors, applied for DACA/EAD in August 2013, biometrics appointment September 2013. Case status still under 'initial review'.

Anyone else awaiting approval?

I'd like to know anyone's opinion on what may be the delays in approval besides a high volume of applicants?

Hello and welcome. I only applied recently so. It looks like your case went over the 6 months. Have you contacted USCIS and made an inquiry about your case? Did you have other immigration cases? Been arrested? Some people here have been waiting longer and some cases have been approved after a year.

Hey Arymery I applied in October 2nd 2013 and im also still under initial review. I did an e request online after I hit the 7 month period and basically they told me that my case is currently under review with an officer and that I should receive an answer within 90 days of that letter. I dont know if I should even believe they would send me a decision within those 90 days but im just really hoping its true. Have you done an e-request?

Have you heard anything at all?
