Title says it all... Is anyone still on the same boat as me? I've done about everything to try to at least get some kind of info... I only get the same answers...I can't keep waiting I need to work. I need to do something with my life. I am 23 years old without a job, without money. I've been offered to work but obviously I can't.. This is getting ridiculous.

There's a couple of people waiting for over a year. In my case I've been waiting for 16 months so I feel your pain!!!!!!!! I haven't really tried anything besides service requests. Have you tried other resources??

Cases like yours make me more depressed than I already am. I will be over 12 months next week, and I can't take it. There is NO reason for anyone to keep waiting, and it's a slap on the face for people to be talking about renewing while we haven't been approved yet (well, more you two and Alexander, who hasn't posted here in a while). I'm tired of the 'apologists' of the USCIS, especially because most of them have been approved. I just don't want to wait anymore.

I've emailed a lot of people too, to no avail. The congressman couldn't do anything, I've emailed the director and the minions, the Nebrasca Service Center, SCOPSSCATA...I'm just disappointed.

I know people keep saying "think about how DACA is a gift, something you weren't expecting"...yeah, it is, but the hope and dreams that we were given are not coming true.

Why are they making people wait more than the six months? Is it 'criminal records'? Is it age? Is it sexual preference? Or some/all of the above?

Unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do. Since they've approved almost half a million people (or more), a couple thousand still waiting don't matter to anybody.

At this point I'd recommend getting a lawyer and trying to get a Writ of Mandamus against USCIS and likely against FBI from a federal court. Your case is way past the processing time and no one seems to be doing anything about it. It's pretty much a last resort, but I don't think you'll get a decision unless you do this.

Note that writ of Mandamus doesn't force a favorable decision. It just forces a decision or action (ex. USCIS deciding whether or not to approve your DACA, or FBI to finally get its shit together and do your security check).
