I have been approved for Daca. I have the SS and a driver's license.

My mother is a U.S Citizen.

Can she apply for student loans on my behalf???

If you have a ssn and a US citizen cosigner (the cosigner doesn't even have to be your family member), you certainly can apply for loans

Wait so why will you get DACA if your mother is a U.S. Citizen ? Can she apply for you to get your Green Card?

This

His mother most likely already petition leo86 but at the rate the system is going (visa availability) you're looking at a 30+ year wait or less depending on leo86 birth country. If its Mexico you're pretty much screw the visa quota hasn't move in over a decade.

My original country is Brazil. My mother petitioned for me in July 2007. Unfortunately, I was already over 18 at that time so i got stuck on the long haul for that

The scope of my question is to know whether or not there is a way for me to get student loans. If there are ways to get them, how do i do it?

Also, what type of loans are available to someone in my situation? Can I qualify for federal loans w/ US Citizen mother as a cosigner or only Private student loans ?

It's only the private loans that are available to you if you're an undocumented immigrant yourself (w/ a US citizen or PR cosigner). I believe federal loans will require YOU to be a citizen or PR. Look into Wells Fargo Student loan. I know quite a few of undocumented students who were able to take out loans from Wells Fargo.

Do you know what kind of interest rates some of the Dreamers have been getting for those Private student loans? Are they reasonable or off-the wall?
