Did you find out about your approval by getting something in the mail? Or did your case status change online? Just wondering if they change it online before you get something in the mail since I check almost everything daily.

Just got an email/text saying my name was updated, approval coming soon?

I have seen people getting the Name update and getting approvals same or nest day but in my case I got the name update in October and just got an RFE yesterday.

So after 11 months, I will be receiving a RFE letter

I never did any service request as the lawyer suggested not to. We shall see what the letter says.

Mine is almost exactly the same except my biometrics appointment was on April 1,2014. I did a walk in though before then. They received mine on Feb 18 too! Very cool to meet others around the same time frame and see you all getting approved! Let's hope I'm next!!

Hi I just created this account, I barely even know how to use it but I finally did it. I have a question to ask, please anybody who has an answer would be truly appreciated. I sent an e-request after 6 months of applying and I just received an answer yesterday. Here is what they answered:

Recently, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your application. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your case is currently under review with an officer. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 90 days of the date of this letter.

What You Can Do
Please see the "Online Services" below to check the status of your case in the near future. We apologize for the delay.

I just want to know if anybody has received this answer and if it is actually true that my case is under review with an officer or if they're just lying to me. If in fact my case is being reviewed, would it take long after this e-request to actually receive an answer? Thank you in advance.

Since I don't know how to do the timeline thing I'll just do it here;

-Biometrics done:11/06/13
-E-request: 04/25/14
-E-request reply:05/06/14

Wondering if anyone else has heard anything. On May 18th it'll be 3 mths since I applied. I'm not expecting it to happen fast I know some people probably still have more time waiting. Just wondering of there's anymore news.
