I know quite a few people have done AOS post-DACA after using AP to clear EWI, my question is did you apply for an extension of your EAD through AOS? My EAD does not expire until the end of November, and I will be applying for AOS next week, so I am debating what to do. Are we even eligible to renew EAD through AOS if we acquired it through DACA?

Thanks in Advance

You are eligible to file for an EAD as a part of your AOS, however you are not extending it, instead you're applying for a completely new one under a different category (on form I-765 you will mark the box for "Permission to accept employment", however you will list that you did have a work permit from DACA).
The two are completely separate from one another, you have an EAD from DACA does not at all affect your eligibility for one under AOS.

It would honestly be a waist of money to apply for an EAD. The category would simply change and that is it.

It's free if filed with I-485.

The change in category would also permit in state tuition. So for students it would be worth it even if it wasn't free.
