"Name Update". Never updated my name and got this message on both my cases.

Hi guys,

Ok so I have been seeing a lot of people saying that once you get your name update and you didn't request an update, it means that most likely you got approved. However, I also noticed that, they get an approval message within hours of getting the name update message.
My name never needed to be updated to I'm a bit puzzled.

Has this happened to you and did you get approved after? Denied?

I already had an RFE which I mailed back 3 weeks ago. Once they received it, it stated that they had received it and then a few days ago I got the name update status.

Maybe youre about to be approved!!!!! have you heard anything yet?
