I.have been suffering from serious.depression and I ve been to a mental hospital for 3 months. Im still taking medication. I tried getting a job but no luck and when I go shopping and want to try clothes out, they put me in disabled room. Do you think I should apply for social security disability benefit..? It says if I am disabled and live in usa legally, I qualify

First of all I understand a bit I have End Stage Kidney Falure, I do dialysis 3 times a week for 6 hours at a time I live in California, I have been in this condition since 2007, I was able to get in the state medical, I pay a share of cost. Any way I have a cuzin who just got sick and some how was able to get Medicare, but they told her since she is very young and has not worked enough she only get covered for about a year and a half or till her work permit expires, she has daca. I would suggest you try and find a job or something that would motivate you, depression can be hard but it's manageable, a lot of patients on dialysis are very depressed but I always tell them to have a positive outlook, the more positive you are the better on your health, always reaserch as well on your Heath condition, you are your own advocate not your doctors, or you family only you are. I would really hold off from getting Medicare it's could bit you back later in life try to find state resource
