daca and married with an usc

Hey guys!

I have been married to an USC for aabout 2 1/2 years now. At first we were going to do process my permimemt residency by my wife but we were advised by an attorney to have more evidence since our difference age was about 8 years. Well now we are still together and very happy. I have DACA now for about 5 months now and i came here legally. Would it be a good time for me to start my process through my wife? I really really want to visit my home country since i have not been there ever since i came to the US but i am a little scared of applying for AP. What do you guys think?
