I've seen so many approvals including mine since you posted this that didn't take this year long wait you spoke of. what made you so "100% sure" that the wait was a year for everyone? or were you just trying to scare/discourage people?

Just to send them more evidence for 2013 and a clearer copy of my passport. Did you send back yours already?

yeah I agree with you, I saw this post as well and it didn't make sense to me, nobody can be a 100% sure how long it will take for them, that's ridiculous. it didn't take me a year to get mine and ive been out of school for about 7 years so that's bogus lol. Dont pay attention to negative posts like this because there are so many positive ones

I've been out of college since 2005-2006, and I applied a month before I turned 31, my process took 4 months. I've seen people get approved in 2-3 months, yes there are some who has been waiting a year, but we don't know the circumstances of their cases, so we shouldn't assume the same thing is gonna happen to everyone , unless you work at one of these service centers, your facts aren't facts at all

Yes gets delivered tomorrow but I got this update this morning, I'm confused?

Application Type: I821D , Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals

Your Case Status: Acceptance

On June 18, 2014, a duplicate notice was mailed to you regarding a decision on this case, or describing how we will process the case if it is still pending. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. If this I821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is still pending, you will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move and this case is still pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During the acceptance step USCIS reviews newly received applications and petitions to ensure that they are properly filed (i.e. signed by the applicant, appropriate fees, etc.) USCIS issues a receipt number for the application or petition, and sends a receipt notice to the applicant or petitioner.

Applications and petitions that are not properly filed are rejected with an explanation of why the application is rejected and the corrective action needed. Rejected applications or petitions do not retain their filing date.

The acceptance step is typically completed within 2 business days of when the application is received. With mail time it may take several weeks for you to get the receipt or rejection notice in the mail. If you do not receive your notice within 30 days of mailing your application, please contact our national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results

listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current

processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

*Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov under Check Processing Times.

*** Please do not respond to this e-mail message.

Sincerely,

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

that is confusing, I would give them a call just to make sure. I think it could just be a glitch on their system but you have to call just so you know for sure.

Actually I think there just sending a duplicate copy of my RFE Letter because they sent the letter June 5 and it was already June 13 and still nothing so I had put in a E-request last Friday that I haven't received the RFE Letter and then Saturday my lawyer received it. So I tried to cancel the request but I couldn't do it. So they are sending the same exact RFE Letter.
