for the people who dont know FHA allows you to put as little as 3.5% down payment. That is if you meet the requirements.

When it comes to the banks now giving us loans, they do loan money to non citizens and non residents its just that our status is not on their list to people who they loan money to. I believe its because our status is so new and not many banks know much on what or how it works.

so basically you walk in and tell them what you have they look at the list and see that our status is not there and they say no, but i think (hopefully) this will change once they know that we can be good customer many dreamers out there are fairly young and a lot have ambitions to buy a house.

I'm also in the process of buying a house, getting pre-qualified with two different lenders. The trick is you have to shop around, and it won't hit your credit score, since they do what it's called a soft hits. Lenders didn't ask for my status, one of them being Washington Federal, the other one being a local mortgage company. We're doing a conventional loan, because the interest rates are lower than FHA, and you can qualify with 5% or more for a down payment. I, however, was not the principal applicant. If you go to Homeowner classes in your area, you might even qualify for lower rates or grants, depending on your income that are founded by the city or the county.

You DO NOT need a 20% down payment.

You are eligible and can apply for a home loan with DACA. There is a lending office that specializes in home loans for DACA (DREAMers). For more information, check out https://www.facebook.com/DreamerFinancing and www.DreamerFinancing.com

Home loans for DACA (Dreamers) with as little as 3.5% down payment.

Market rates. Don't pay higher interest rates; no need. They can lend in 44 states. DACA does not keep you from applying for a home loan. Don't let anyone discourage you or tell you differently!

Keep in mind that you if put less than 20% down, most banks will require you to carry PMI (Mortgage insurance), which depending on the value of the loan, can be over $100/month on top of your mortgage.

Do your research guys.
