My crowd funding site!!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share with you all my crowd funding site that is based on my research as a graduate student at San Francisco State University. After receiving DACA and with the help of the CA DREAM ACT, I went back to school to study honey bees and get my master's degree in Biology. If any one has any questions about grad school, I'd happy to answer them thru a PM.

As you may know science grants are hard to come by in this economy so I'm reaching out to the public for support. It is even more difficult to apply for grants when you're not a U.S. citizen or perm. resident. Please donate, even if it is $5 or $10 dollars, it means everything to me

Isn't spamming and solicitation against the rules also?

Not directly but it is related to the bigger problem. I'm hoping my research will allow us to know how much do zombie flies participate in colony declines throughout the U.S. It may play a large role or a minor role in CCD.

Erika86, your post is not against forum rules. We've had other members post information about their attempts to raise funds. Those efforts were related to immigration reform/DACA, but I don't see why you soliciting funding for educational purposes would be any different.

IamAman, I was specifically referring to rule about insulting other members.

I wasn't insulting her, I was installing the recent trend in asking others to support one's lifestyle - such as the guy who wanted the potato salad and asked for crowd funding for it. You're being one sided.
