Question, do you know if you can pay the loan quicker than they give it to you? I was looking at it myself, but just not sure if actually I would be able to do that.

Thanks.

You can pay it off as soon as you want to. They would like for you to pay it over a longer period of time due to the interest you would be paying.

I would check out Citi and Wells Frago first, their interest is way lower than Discover

While the specialist told me they will contact the school for certification once these documents are received. I'm hoping they won't question me such as valid visa and I-20 stuff
How did your loan application go? I'm really interested to know because I need an URGENT loan for my last year of school.

I got approved for the student loan, school issued the certification, and they will send funds to school in scheduled dates.

Wow that's awesome! So your EAD and SSN were your only immigration type documents right? Did you apply online or did you call?

Thank you so much for the info

EAD and SSN, along with USC or PR cosigner is needed. I applied online and it was fairly quick process.

This sounds like just what I need right now. Thanks so much for sharing. I'm going to try applying Tuesday. Here's to an approval!
