Well money is not an issue it is the time that you will never get back. I would not be able to stand waiting another 2 years for some unknown result.

PS: I waited 6 months for my approval and thought that was forever.

start saving or recycle, if you recycle in about 3 months you should have the monies. There is nothing to be ashamed to recycle. I'm currently in need of a kidney transplant and I have been recycling for a while to save up for $20,000 to get placed on the active list for a kidney transplant.

I think now you can argue that it's a different case altogether. You have a valid high school diploma that wasn't properly accepted.

Best of luck to you when you're ready to reapply, man.

Go into a GED program, get a notice from it saying you're a part of it, and re-apply.

If you don't mind me asking you, in which area do you live? Is not one of your family members a match ?

Its not always the attorneys fault you know, Most "home school" programs have proof that they are accredited by each state, it just so happened that some got too greedy with DACA and started making it waaaaaay to easy to get a high school diploma that got USCIS attention. Our firm has had many approvals with an applicant having a home school diploma, the home school issues started about a year ago.

Nice biased answer there. But really can your firm speak for the many other incompetent firms out there? Probably not. I'm just saying though, he should go ask what his/her lawyer did and maybe she can get a footing as to what really happen. They confirmed that they did have to take a state sanctioned test. so the RFE response was probably incompetent.

That sucks. I am so sorry to hear that. You haven't received the denial letter yet, right? Wait until you receive it to see what it says, and I think you should reapply again.
