Yeah!! Screw making a backup plan or anything!! This is the Now so worry about the Noe and forget the future!!!

Right ?

losing DACA won't affect us as much some may cry it's the end of the world. We lived " normally" with our DACA. Going back with out would be the same as how we started. I hope those who entered here with out inspection are using AP to get rid of their EWI. In case they later want to adjust.

Personally me if DACA gets take away. I am moving back home and applying to some European country. Like Germany, I have family there with uncle's would help me finda job there.

Amen!

My boyfriend is willing to sponsor me if DACA disappears without CIR in its place. If that doesn't work out, I recognize my value enough that I would just move to a different country. This time, I'd follow the necessary steps and just thrive elsewhere.

I respect myself enough to know that if the US isn't the only country where I can be successful. If this country won't properly recognize my worth, then another country will. I am sure of that.

In the meantime, ugh. Who cares? As long as DACA is in place and as long as I get renewed (hopefully!), Im'a live to the fullest.

If you plan to marry your bf, why not do it now? From what I understand, if you qualify for DACA and you get married to a USC, then it is easy to get your permanent residency. I'm not saying you should marry a USC just for adjustment, but if you plan to marry him why not just do it now? Besides, being married is a lot of fun.

Lol, that's a good question.

He's living up in NorCal for the year to complete his residency. We don't have the money for the proper wedding that we want, and truth be told, we're not 100% sure if it's the right time to get married anyway. (Read: I'm not sure I like his family enough to be a part of them for the next xx years)

Of course, if push comes to shove, we'll do a quickie and have the party later. While I can still get by with DACA, though, we're waiting until it's the right time.

That makes sense, you don't want to end up with someone that you are not sure about. The big party should be the least of your concerns. I told my girl, "I can't give you a big wedding party now, nor a house, and I might never have a good job given my circumstances. I just know that I love you and that I want to be with you the rest of my life and in heaven when the day comes." So, after she agreed we wen to a small wedding place and got married. I felt bad because she deserves a huge wedding. But you know what, our hearts get filled with joy and happiness every time we watch the video of our special day. It wasn't a Hollywood wedding, but it is our special day. So once you are sure, just go for it. The only thing that will matter is that you are both together.

I would probably apply for Advance Parole before my permit expires and adjust through my boyfriend (we're planning on getting married in HI or PR next year anyway).

Well..To think about how to answer your question, I would pose a question..How has DACA changed your life? For me, I've realized that absolutely NOTHING has changed. Now I have a work permit and I have a job and I realize how fucking hard it is to make a living and work in my field. It is freaking brutal out there. Man it takes major balls to live in this country and to dare to dream. The real "Dreamer" in you comes after you have papers. So now to answer the question, I would not leave this country. I would use connections to continue working in my field off the books. But to be realistic, DACA will not be discontinued unless a Republican takes over office. That will never happen in our life time. This country is fully Democratic at this point. And please man don't think about leaving this country and going back to Mexico or some other third world country. Think about all the shit you're going to give up. You got no idea what your parents had to go through to come to America. Ain't no sensible person leaves America after getting here..Get your head straight, grow up, and deal with adversity..is all i can say man.
