Traveling NY to UMich for MHacks

Traveling from NY to the University of Michigan for MHacks 9/5-9/7. I was wondering if anyone knows of any checkpoints on the way that should keep me from traveling. We're traveling via private bus if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone if there are any border patrol checkpoints in the Michigan highways?

Do you have your EAD. If so, it shouldn't matter.

I didn't qualify for DACA so I don't. I read online that there are only checkpoints in Maine and New York but I wanted to know if anyone knew anything about Michigan. I'll be traveling with a private bus sponsored by Columbia University if that makes a difference.
