I'm sure it will come. I guess I should consider myself lucky as I sent out my packet on Monday as well, federal express mailed it, and got texts/email notification on Wednesday night saying my case will be processed in Nebraska.

on the USCIS DACA Renewal page on the bottom, it says:

Note: If USCIS is unexpectedly delayed in processing your renewal request, we may provide deferred action and employment authorization for a short period of time until we finish processing your request. We may do this if you filed your request at least 120 days before your current period of deferred action and employment authorization expire.

No sure if that applies to situations most of us are having, since they never did give any approximation in timeline for renewals, so we can't really say if this is an expected or unexpected delay, but it does say if it's over 120 days, so it doesn't hurt to ask.

Btw, did my biometrics today per appointment, took about 15 minutes =)

Perhaps they'll just automatically renew it?

I'm not too confident about that one. If it was so easy to just automatically give a temp extension to our existing DACA/EAD, it wouldn't take them 6 months to process a single page app with no additional documents to go through (for a majority of renewals anyway)....

With the USCIS, it's never really that easy. It's still best to just call in and ask yourself.

Guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Does anyone know if when they renew our DACA, the dates on our new EAD's will start from the day the renewal got approved, or starting when our old EAD expires?

Hope you hear back soon! I know it's scary waiting.

I sent my packet on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. and it was delivered the next day at 10:30 a.m. Received USCIS texts and emails last night.

Guys, if you want peace of mind, definitely overnight your packet if you can afford to do so.
