Thanks to DACA, I was able to finally get a good paying job. After first receiving it, I applied, and got hired, at UPS. Once I received my AA degree, I had an interview with an investigations firm for an internship. After the interview, instead of being offered an internship I was offered a job. My original plan was to quit UPS once I got a better job, but I decided on doing both instead. It's tough to work both jobs, and I don't really need the income from UPS, but the health insurance at UPS is top-tier, that's why I still work there.

When applying just hope HR doesn't decide they want to check c33. But as someone else said. they won't look at your ead until you're close to being hired meaning you passed the interview and was called back for a follow up. If they do ask if Youre under DACA don't lie but ale it look like it's no big deal and aren't seeking sponsoship or required it and the 2 year renewal is just to make sure Youre still here and aren't getting in trouble.

Now most jobs won't bother with it. they just care if you can legally work or not. Top level jobs from a well company they might since you are going to be trained and invested. So they might wonder how assure you can be for them in the long wrong.

But just dont tell If they don't ask. If they make ask make it look like it's no big deal

Of course they don't have a problem. You're getting paid $12 an hour as an IT personnel, which is a huge bargain for them.

But I guess people in our situation can't complain too much, right? Plus you're gaining valuable experience for that resume.

You have to interview for a job like anybody else in the country, once you get the job you just fill out with your daca info.. If they say anything about it then there's discriminating and I believe you can call up The dept of labor

I love my job. I've been there a year and last week received a promotion. Thankfully because of DACA I am able to use my Masters degree.

I had no issues with HR. I did not mention DACa. I showed EAD, e-verify was run and I was hired.
