Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this has been answered before. But heres' what happened to me:

My DACA expires on November 7th. I submitted my documents 120 days/4 months before that.

Here's my timeline:
July 7th - Package sent
July 8th - Received at Nebraska Service Center
July 10th - Email notification
August 1st - Biometrics appointment

Then, on August 5th, I received a letter in the mail from Vermont Service Center telling me that I had 100 days left before my DACA expired and to please apply soon. I found this extremely weird since just a couple of days ago I did my Biometrics.

When I first applied I sent my documents to VSC, and since I'm in Florida, I sent the documents to Dallas Lockbox and according to the receipt email they were rerouted to Nebraska Service Center.

I called USCIS and talked to a supervisor. He said that he sent a letter to the service center asking them to give me a reply by mail about why I received that "reminder letter" over the mail.

Just wondering if this has happened to any of you.

Of course if you read the reminder letters.... it says to disregard if you've already applied

Sorry, I didn't know that these were being sent to everyone. I actually thought for a second it might have been a mistake since most of my info is at VSC where I applied first.

On August 18, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
