For me, when they did it they first firmly pressed down on my finger (up to about the first line you see on your fingers) then they rolled it side to side a bit.

However, I don't remember then rolling all the way to the point it made a perpendicular axis with the machine so... I would think you are okay.

Hey I just sumitted a e-request online because its already been 6 months since I sumitted my daca application. I just want to know whats the next process? Or how long will I hear from them...

So actually 2 weeks after you sumitted your e request you got approved huh?

@robert559 yes they did approve it. My sister was approved before me and she applied right after i did. I sent an e request on july 16 and they sent me and email that they would respond on august 7. That wasn't the case bc i was approved sooner. So just wait and be patient dont lose hope. Your time will come. I know u might feel like its taking for ever but when u least expect it u will find it in ur mail box. Sending you my positive energry lol

I have a question on part 8 additional information on page 3 part 2 i wanted to add one more address on there but what would i put as "Item Number"?

Has anyone received this message after making an e-request for outside normal processing times?

"We have placed your case on a processing hold because the required security checks remain pending. Until we receive the results of these security checks, we cannot move forward on your case. We require the results of security checks before we make a decision on any pending case.

We cannot predict when we will receive the results of these security checks. Please be assured that we will make every effort to make a decision in your case as soon as the security checks are complete."

From my readings on this site and other sites, plenty of people have received that same response, though I wonder if security checks happen before or during the time of adjudication process. Such that does your application need to be done with security checks before it even gets to an adjudicating officer's desk or are security checks initiated by adjudication officer. Anyone know?

Hi guys so I did my biometric on on 8/14 which was my schedule appt and just yesterday I received another notice to do my biometric again 9/3. The case number and paper look identical and except the date and I am wondering why I need to do 2 biometrics? Has anyone had this issue before and if so who do I need to contact. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you

I had a quick question. I've been reading posts about people that have home school diploma getting denied. I want to know if there's people that have home school diploma and have gotten approved? I'm just nervous because I have a home school diploma and I don't know if I'm going to get approved.
