White House chief of staff Denis McDonough pledged to Latino lawmakers during a private meeting Thursday that President Barack Obama will take executive action on immigration before the holidays are over – an effort to soothe lawmakers furious about the administration’s move to hold off on action.

The holidays don't end till Jan 1st lmfao. We are looking at a lost cause here. Let's just hope and pray they're not lying to us and might as well wait couple months longer now.

I think they are talking about 2050 holidays. Even if EO happens, I'm afraid I might not be a beneficiary.

This is going to be Obama's speech before the holidays: I don't want to ruin the posibilities of a real immigration reform with the new congress so I have decided to set a new deadline for EO until the end of 2015

I hope he extends the 2 year period because it is way too short. Having to pay $465 every two years is too much.

That's pennies if you are allowed to work. I'd pay that any day. But yea, anything that helps.

Late 40's Dreamer (Holy Fucking shit I'm almost 50 and still dealing with this), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.
