What's up Dreamers,

I was approved on 9/13. I sent my renewal form on 8/4 and bioM on 8/12 but rescheduled for 8/20. My old permit expires on 10/05. I haven't received my new permit yet. Hopefully I get it this week!

Good luck everyone.

Now I am convinced USCIS is going by expiration dates. Makes sense to me since I can imagine the they are being swamped right now by renewal applications.

I'm not convinced, I sent mine on July 10th and still no approval. Mine expires in 2 days.

That's a good question. Have you noticed any correlation with approvals and having a job in this forum?

Yes I do, my employer hasn't mentioned anything to me regarding the renewal and I'm pretty sure he doesn't care either lol.

But, I did call USCIS today (again for the 6th time since last week) and I was told the same thing by 6 different people, that as long as I have my I-797 receipt showing I submitted my application and that it is still pending I should be ok to continue working AND that I do not accrue unlawful presence. At first I thought the first person who told me that didn't know what they were talking about but after the 6th person I'm pretty much just gonna stop calling and wait since there is nothing else I can do (I even tried making an appointment on infopass and it kept telling me there was not appointments available, check again at a later time).

seems like those that were getting approved have a job, but then Tang has a job and he has not been approved. I wonder if the current engineering company i work for , would give me a chance in case my ead is a bit late, or if i would get fired. Im really scared of losing my job, it took me a lot to get it.

You would think that the renewal would be much faster, fuck.

Hopefully you hear something Tang.

You sent your application too late! They had told us from day one you should submit your application AT LEAST 120 days before your EAD is set to expire and RECOMMEND that you send it 150 days before. That's why you have not been approved yet. My app was received on July 2nd and its expiring in November 27th.

Was it routed to Nebraska?
