My status expire at Oct.23rd
and still in initial review >_<

I've called them several times, as result, no expedite nor further information but asked me to wait.

However, as I did some research, people who submit their renewal application before 120 days of their expiration day could get a short period temp DACA & EAD. But I don't know how long it takes the temp card arrive in your hands.

I need valid EAD for business purpose in early November, hopefully I'll get them either the official or temp one before that. Finger crossed!

I received my EAD and renewal letter exactly 7 days after my renewal approval.
I went in to the DMV today to renew my license with no problems at all! Didn't have to pay, no tests, just some signatures, and pictures.
Also went in to HR today to update my EAD and everything was smooth sailing. Hurrah for another two years!

I also got my driver's license renewed and it was smooth sailing. Had to pay $25 renewal fee here in Texas.

Curious, what are we renewing on our driver licenses?

My driver license expires 2018, but the temporary visitor expiration shows the October 2014 expiration...so I guess we have to renew it for the temporary visitor expiration field on it to show the new renewed date?

Hello everyone, I have not been around here is a long time.

For people who's first permit expires around Oct 26th and sent renewal applications with decent time ,which is my case, please be ready. I got my receipt notification around July 2nd 2014 and just got approved for another 2 years.

Also, I live in Chicago so my application got processed at SRC Texas Service Center

People in my similar situation please hang on! I know that there were rumors about SRC being a little bit behind. I hope they are catching up.

Well that's a bit discouraging. My receipt notice was June 9th, expiration Oct 21st and haven't gotten any notices after biometrics. But congrats!

Approved. Expiration Oct. 30. Work permit was approved last night. And Deferred action was approved this morning.

Wth is USCIS doing?! People in September and early Oct is still waiting and they conpletely neglected those apps...

I know dude! this is so frustrating!!!
