Hi! this is my first time posting a comment. So, bare with me.

To Dreamer91, you are not alone. Mine will expire on October 09, 14. I have been calling but they have been very rude, or at least that's my perception. They say nothing can be done, just to wait. I went with the lawyer that helped me filled out my application and we made an appointment for October 07 to inquire about my application. I have been checking my status online but the person before me, got approved already. I have been checking others applications, the ones that are still in initial review are the ones received on June 12th. I do not know if they got lost or what is happening. I have a contract with the hospital that I am working right now. The contract will expired until December, and I will have to pay back the bonus that they gave me. I do not know what else to do.

My application is being processed in the Nebraska center if that makes a difference.

Yeah, one paper with a barcode and your appointment on it. Nothing else is in the envelope.

I know there are some people who expired who continued working because they weren't bugged by HR. I was, so I have no choice. And even if I wasn't, I would still tell my employer I can't work. I want to get my green card one day. If we can be denied it even for a state crime, how much more a FEDERAL crime of working without authorization??? I just don't want to be applying, have my background checked, and have them find that I was under payroll at the time, and there goes any hope for a green card. No thanks.

I have to fight myself everyday to keep from sobbing. There were some people in their initials who took more than a year to get approved simply because of bureaucracy BULLSHIT and not because of a complicated case.

I honestly feel liked for the expired and the expiring, we're all in a BAD boat. It's like being in a coma, the moment you pass the 3-4 month mark, the bigger your chances of your case being a horror story.

Gosh this site is difficult to get around in. Okay so I've been stalking your conversations dreading my approval but today I checked and I'm approved.

Expire: October 30, 2014
Approved: September 30, 2014

Texas then rerouted to Nebraska.
Received June 30th, bio July 30 and 2 months to approve from there on. Sent it in with 119 days until expiration. Hopefully this helps those who are in the dark regarding the October expiration dates.

I'm very sorry for those expired or about to. It makes me very depressed that on top of life, you have to go through this too. That's all.
