Yes I did get AP and left to Mexico. I came back with no issues but I have no clue if that might be causing the delay.

I sent my renewal application around July 10th, I should have just walked in to my biometrics but waited like a dumbass for my actual appointment. My brother sent his application a week AFTER I did but walked in for his biometrics the same day he got his letter and he got his approval last week.
I hate to rain on your parade, but having extra time doesn't necessarily guarantee approval. Sometimes you just turn out to be one of the UNLUCKY bastards whose case got screwed over by bureaucracy bullshit. My EAD expires 10/15. My application was accepted 6/9 and my biometrics done 7/2. They have had almost 4 months (116 days) to process my case. No, there is nothing complicated with it. No AP, no crime, NOTHING. My brother sent in his app with an expiration of 10/22 and he got his approval 9/24 and his card came in today.

Just trying to say to everyone out there. It's not the time. USCIS is just a fucked up machine who can't even have an efficient process that at least prioritizes approving cases based on their expiration dates or give them interim EAD's if they do expire because guess what? Undocumented kids aren't important enough.

On the bright side I was JUST NOW able to get an appointment (Oct 17th) via infopass to my local uscis to request an interim EAD. We'll see how that goes.

Pootie tang, off topic when you went to Mexico. How did you go? Through the airport or boarder? Just curious. I need to know which would be better to travel across.

That's so shitty that they would do that. You would think that people who are already approved for DACA should just be able to coast through smoothly for as long as the program is alive. I guess not.

An interim EAD for temporary DACA? That's like saying "Oh, i have an appointment to get a temp tag for my temp tags on my car and hopefully one day i can get license plates!" That just goes to show where USCIS's priorities are. =(

Wait, there is actually a chance to get an interim EAD?

Through the airport, had no issues whatsoever. I posted a detailed thread about it here if you're interested.

There's a user that did and erequest for a status on their EAD, they told him that it wasn't assigned to anybody yet.

I tried doing that but it won't give me the options to request a status update on the EAD.

Anybody know who the user is?
