OP I suggest you call these people if you have questions regarding this.

Quote:
Who should I call if I have questions or concerns?
Call OSC’s worker hotline at 1-800-255-7688, 9am-5pm, ET (TTY for the hearing impaired: 1-800-237-2515). Your call can be anonymous, and interpreters are available. In appropriate circumstances, OSC can call employers and inform them of the law and help get you back on the job quickly. Note that it is illegal for an employer to intimidate, threaten, or retaliate against anyone for contacting the hotline. For more information, you may also visit http://www.justice.gov/crt/about/osc.

You potentially could get uvisa and lots of monies, now do we have your attention Azul?

Piano might have a point but I still think you should get in touch with a lawyer if you have some money to spare.

Don't forget deferred action is simply a measure for the federal government to focus more on deporting bigger fish. They don't owe you shit.
*u** y**, we earned it. We pay our taxes and do everything by the book.. There's absolutley no reason why we should get the short end of the stick.. Stop being such a lay down and fight for what's yours, when you learn that, you'll change your life for the better.

Sorry it's that kind of attitude that has helped turn a humanitarian effort of granting amnesty to those who are legally outside the bounds of the law into a political hot potato of "those ingrate invaders are taking over our country!". lol "we earned it".

I don't care what attitude you have. Those who do not want undocumented to be granted legal status will have those views if you mooch off the government or pay 6 million in taxes a year.

I'm sorry you feel that way but I am an outstanding individual who contributes more than your average American to my community and to my state and federal government. The moment you start having more self worth, you will be better.

This statement is really offensive. You, which I am guessing are a frequent user of this site, know that many people on this forum were brought here when they were kids, even babies. It isn't fair for you to point the finger at everyone and condemn them for something they had no control over. Also, I am so tired of the food stamp complaints. It is a shame that citizens of the world are not fed, even though we have enough food to feed everyone. Especially in a first world country, the leading power house. It's shameful. I hope more people research the claims that they make. Instead of complaining about food stamps and talking about how much money is used to fund it (it is not as much as you think, please do your research. Maybe then you will stop spewing ignorant comments), which regardless of what you think, it feeds people, maybe you should complain about all the tax breaks that big companies get. But I guess it is easier to point the finger at the poor. Also, yes, we pay for our taxes. More so than the rich. So, if someone needs the help, by all means please get help. I bet that if all the people that complain about government assistance were to find themselves in a bind, they would be the first ones in line for food stamps and welfare.

It's disappointing to see comments like yours in this forum. Even though I like the information that we give to each other, at times it reminds me of the dreadful and disgusting yahoo article comments that are on every immigration story.
