Was the Mavini program or whatever ever approved by the Pentagon or no? I heard that Obama was going to issue and executive order, but later decided not to. Did he go back and issue it, or not yet?

They are accepting people with DACA, here are the qualifications: http://www.goarmy.com/content/dam/go...i-language.pdf

Other than that, you still can NOT get in.

If they are accepting people with DACA, why can I not get in?

If you qualify for that program then you can, if you don't qualify for it then you can't. It's that simple.

They only recently started letting DACA recipients join via the MAVNI program.

What? Did you actually go into a recruiting section and they said no?

He probably thought the military was accepting DACA people now, and didnt realize you need to have skills they need

I wonder if they will let you become an officer if you already completed 4yrs of undergraduate education. It would kind of suck to enlist as a private...

You need secret security clearance in order to become an officer. You need to a be a citizen for a few years to qualify, you'd also most likely need to have no undocumented relatives. Enlist, sponsor your relatives, do a few years, then enroll into an officer candidate school.
With an undergraduate degree they could probably make you a specialist instead of a private (1 step higher).

Yeah, MAVNI exists due to a loophole stating that you can only accept citizens, non-citizen nationals, and permanent residents, unless it is "vital to national interest". In order for it to be vital for national interest either you have critically low number of enlistments (which there aren't), or you try to get people with skills the military needs, in this case the language/cultural background, or medical skills.
