For those who already received their EAD card and i821d renewal notice via-mail. Have you also received an EAD approval notice via-mail ? I have not.
Two years ago, I received 2 approval notices + my EAD card; this year I only received my i821 approval notice and my EAD card via-mail.

I'm in the same boat...it was received August 27th and sent to Nebraska and still no biometrics appointment but my sister sent her's 3 weeks after mine and already received her appointment. I already called on 3 different occasions and filed a service request and the response was they contacted the supervisor handling my case and they will send my appointment letter within 60 days. I think that it depends on who is working on your case. Some processors are slower than others.

As they say on the radio, I'm a long time listener and first time caller. I thought I might add my timeline in order to contribute to this great forum. My EAD originally expired on 10/01/14. I submitted my renewal to Phoenix via USPS priority express on 9/03/14 with money order and barcode from previous acceptance notification. Text received on 9/08/14 and I was routed to Nebraska and scheduled for biometrics for 10/03/14, however I walked-in the day after I received the letter so I went in 09/19/14. Throughout the process, my online status indicated that my case could not be found. On Saturday 10/04/14 my status changed to card production and on Monday 10/06/14 my 821D was also approved.
I expect my card within a few days upon which I will renew my license. Since my job never asked for the new card, I do not plan on showing it until they ask.

PS I know I procrastinated, but I did not want to lose a month. I know we're ok until the 2016 elections and I wanted the opportunity to renew again in the event a Democrat does not win. I know it is an executive order and can be rescinded at anytime yet I doubt a potential Republican occupant would cancel them, he might just allow them to expire. Pure speculation of course...

Question for you all-
How long after Card Production Ordered are you getting the shipment notification. Also, has there been a long delay for anyone with 821d update after EAD changed to Card Production ordered status.

My Ead status updated to card production ordered on 10/1 but nothing yet on 821d and I'm stressing out. Typically, it's just been a day or two for most I have seen. Thank you!!

You need to call and ask to speak with a Level 2 representative. If the person acts like they don't know what that is, tell them you need to speak with their supervisor. And you need to do this today and get your biometrics appointment sorted out.

OK GUYS i'm worried it's been over 2 weeks I have not heard anything since I send my application nor has my check been cashed.


I see other peoples checks being cashed as fast as 4 days

what do i do to find out whats going on?

I have never been able to speak to a level 2 supervisor. Their excuse is i dont have the authorization to transfer you

I have a quick question.
Did anyone send a copy of their income tax for the renewal?
If so what forms did you send?
I just want to send it just to be on the safe side and I don want any worries later on.
