Yes... but I am also waiting on the new one to come in. HR hasn't found out yet. It's not that big of a deal, all that is going to change is the date on the EAD card.

HR already sent me a letter stating that I will get the boot once my current EAD expires if I don't show them the renewed one. -.-

I work for a large retail company and it's been over a month since it expired. I guess I've been lucky.... But don't worry, it's at the discretion of the employer. I was told that I shouldn't worry because nothing changes except the date (and your updated pic.) Even if they do find out, there is a grace period they give you. It's anywhere from 30 - 90 days. So cheer up and focus on other things .

How did you guys deal with the HR from your company? I may be in this situation pretty soon and I want to prepare how to deal with this from my company. Could someone give us some advice?

wait! So your employer is supposed to give you a grace period??? I work for Macy's and totally got fucked!!! My EAD expired Nov 2 BUT I got approved October 28 but I didn't get my actual card till Nov 4. Well they called me Monday and told me they were firing. I got fired! When I finally showed them my new EAD they told me they'll rehired me but NOTHING! I'm without a job now. I'm thinking of suing them now, they keep giving me the round around

They don't have to give you a grace period. It's completely under the discretion of the employer.

Yea i think it has to do with the employer. I work for a call center and they hire a lot of different ethnicities, some are here to stay others are on work visas and student visas. Im hoping i dont have to get to my expiration date but im sure HR has delt with similar cases.
