I hope you two have jobs lined up, otherwise you're going to have a bad time.

Koreatown is the cheapest neighborhood that I've found if you want to live in central L.A. Try to find neighborhoods that haven't been gentrified yet. That way, you can get in before the hipsters start moving in and pushing the rent way up.

My apartment now is a studio for $850 with all utilities included. I'm walking distance to three grocery stores and a Metro subway station. I can't complain.

For a 1-bedroom apartment, though, you're gonna have a hard time finding anything cheaper than $1,200/month.

i moved from OC to Alhambra.... we were able to rent a single house- 2 bedroom for $1550... pretty good deal for the fact that it has a big back yard, front yard, and a garage.

it sucks though... i miss OC!! when i finish school i wanna move back.

You'll love L.A., there is no better place in the world. I can't imagine not living here. I'm not even joking either lol.

Hi, I hope , I still could share my opinion here. By the way, anyone out there who have the plans of moving to a place whether in LA or any other location is a great big step. It is true that you have to consider everything especially before you finally get done. But with a professional who are expert on this , I think, everything will be easy. They could probably assist you to discover some good spots and places that you will need when you relocate. In this case, moving to a new place will not be a problem anymore.

It all depends on what kind of place (and how big) you want to live in, as well as what area.

I wouldn't recommend moving out there unless you either:

a. have a good job lined up, or
b. have a significant amount of money saved up

Prepare for a major downgrade in space. Welcome to California.
