The LINS before mine JUST got approved! Really hoping for an approval soon..hopefully within a week or 10 days!

I was approved last wednesday 10-08-14... but is still on : we ordered production of your card... maybe they will ship it until tomorrow or wednesday

I got approved! I did my biometrics last Tuesday on 10/7 got approved on the 10th. Wayyyy to fast after biometrics but I'm not complaining!

So I've waited and waited for my renewal and still nothing. I finally called them and asked if there was anything wrong or what is happening and apparently get this???!!!! There's a five month backlog in the Texas Services center?!?!?! I'm like WTH! my work permit expires in two weeks? What am I supposed to do?? He told me to make an INFOpass appointment, so I going in tomorrow. I'll post my findings.

I'm hoping mine gets approved early, I need my new one coz I'm changing jobs as soon as I get my new one and I just did my bios last week too. Question though, did anyone determine why people are getting "change of address" notifications? I sure as hell don't want my permit going to another address!

I see on USCIS website that the average wait time and national goal for 821D applications is 6 months LMFAO. I thought it was 3 months. This is going to take a while. I'm starting to wonder if sending it 140 days before expiration is actually hurting me.
