My renewal at the Texas Service Center is now in "Initial Review" for 3 months now. My EAD expires 11-9-14, I hope I get approved soon.

Has anyone been approved for renewal from TX service center yet?

Mine expires Nov 25, I saw someone post in there then they were approved by the Texas service center, but it was just one person.

I am expiring in 3 days and my application has been filed more than 4 months ago (see timeline). From TSC. Apparently there are delays. My brother was approved at 9/24 when he expired 10/22 and a friend of mine who also expires at 10/22 was approved at 10/6. They were both TSC.

Honestly though, I feel that if you pass the 1 month or 2 week till expiration date, you will expire. I haven't seen anybody that has gotten approved DANGEROUSLY close to their expiration (less than 2 weeks), unless they were September expirees.

Did your brother and your friend receive a 2nd biometric notice? My original biometrics were on August 6, 2014 which I took care of. However, after a few weeks I received another biometrics appointment for 9-2-14, but I did a walk in to the ASC when I received the letter and they said that everything was fine on 8-6-14 so I do not need to do the biometrics again. I submitted my renewal after July 4th and it still says "initial Review" with a date of "July 11, 2014." My application is also at Texas Service Center.

Hey, I had the same exact issue! I did my biometrics as scheduled in August, then got another notification that I needed to do another on in September, but when I got there they told me the same thing. Also at TSC. I'm glad I'm not the only one...

Spoke to a customer service representative on the phone and it sounds like the TSC is really backed up...they're working on applications received in February???? what??

I'm fucked. I expire 10/31 and still on "initial review".

I think there has to be a different processing times for renewals because the forms for renewals were not out until June of 2014.

Regarding the February processing times it has to be the initial DACA application, because if you look at the processing times for the other 3 service centers for I-821-D it says 6 months and for Texas it says 6.8 months.

USCIS needs to get its act together. I hope we all get approved soon!
