Yes both 821D and 765 approved for me yesterday. Your 821D is approved don't worry. You can't get an EAD without 821D being approved. It's just weird and nobody knows how USCIS functions with these delays. That really is bizarre in your case but I would give them a call. It's definitely approved dont worry about that.

Has anyone gotten their work permit extended?!!?!?! I'm starting to freak the f out because my work permit expires in a week and half and they still haven't approved me. I sent it on time like they said and still nothing. I've talked to them and they told me there is a five month delay in processing cases 
I've called my congressman and all they told me was to make an INFOPass appointment and see if they would be willing to get it extended, which is ironic given that my congressman is Luiz Gutierrez, supposedly "the guy" when it comes to immigration, that pissed me off to.
My employer is really hounding me on getting it by 10/26 otherwise, they WILL TERMINATE me. I literally get a letter from them every week reminding me
