The point of mentioning it is just frustration that this is another kick in the gut any time there is immigration reform talk in the horizon. The point of mentioning it was a Mexican is that it was a Mexican who did it. Just facts.

Dont you love the hypocrisy of the general public in this country. When a 20 year old white man shoots 20 kids, dont you just love how they turn it into a debate about mental illness and how it must have been just a horrible isolated incident not to be used as a representation of all the honest gun owners of America. But god forbid a minority (whether it be African American or Latino) does something, then all of the sudden that single person represents millions of people. I laugh when people say race is not an issue, even in 2014, it still clearly is..

Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, Chile now those countries have model citizens hehe.

Also of interest, countries below Honduras geographically only make up less than 4% of all illegal immigrants in the U.S.

Apparently it matters to you.. As you choose to łable all Mexicans as a single entity and not as a group of individuals with an unlimited amount of choices not based on a consensus.

It baffles me to find such ignorance within this forum, it's trully saddening.

You seem to be baffled for different reasons than you might think. It doesn't matter where *I* am from because I'm not the one flying my flag at immigration rallies. I'm not the one who wears T-shirts with the Mexican flag on it and uses every opportunity to let the world be known they're Mexican...even though they left their country. I never labeled all Mexicans as a single entity other than joking about the luncheon, but as the single biggest immigrant group who is vocal about immigration reform, it is absolutely fair to point out that this particular nationality needs to stop effing it up for the rest of us faceless illegals who don't fly our flags.

What's sad is that a cop got killed and because of it, the rest of us are going to suffer.

This wasn't some kid. This guy and his wife had a history of violent behavior. Besides, think about your family. If your kid breaks your window, you'll be mad but get over it. If the neighbor's kid comes and breaks your window on purpose, you're not going to forgive that as easily.

I say regardless of his immigration statues he should go to jail or get the capital sentence, it's not right to kill plus gun control might arise from the events of this week that had guns involved

Because I can sniff a set-up a mile away! Maybe yours was an innocent question but the other people ran off with my answer.

PS. I really hope the K stands for Mrs. Karbappel. That would be cool.
