After last night I am sure everyone is wondering what does it mean for the EO? Well, the lawyers on Twitter say it is still coming. Rep Gutierrez says the timetable is within 45 days, which is the week before Christmas.

But, IMO, it may come sooner as the consensus seems to be that the delay pretty much screwed the Dems in races that were winnable before yesterday by suppressing Latino/Immigrant enthusiasm.

I don't think Obama going forward with the executive order now is going to help in any way. It will just make republicans find every possible way to strip our work permits from . The 2016 presidential election is coming up pretty soon and they just can't keep ignoring this immigration issue because it's going to kill them.

There is no choice now. It's all about 2016 and in particular the Hispanic vote in 2016.

What's hilarious is how delaying the executive order was supposed to help those pussy democrats....they still lost. I hope this will teach democrats a lesson that we have to be more progressive instead of trying to accommodate idiots

My prediction is that Obama will go ahead with EO. Just to provoke the GOP into generating anti immigrant sound bytes. Perhaps even to force them to attempt at impeachment. That will create an image for the dems that they are fighting hard for the Latinos . They never designed CIR to pass. It has always been a political tool. Immigrants have no friends in the government.

With 2016 right around the corner? John Cornyn says they are going to pass their own bill. /joke Stripping us of DACA would be a PR nightmare for their candidate in 2016. They know self-deportation isn't winning them any votes from that block should they go that route as we inch closer to the primaries.

I don't see them being very productive since Harry Reid is going to make himself a nuisance for the next two years. The House will contine to pass bullshit, but nothing is getting out of the Senate. But, hey that's just my opinion.

And Obama wouldn't sign it. Why would he? It would be him admitting that he should not have done it in the first place.

This. Right on point. A new EO will just give GOP another reason to end DACA.

Obama's plan has been toned down quite a lot to maybe 3-5 million benefitting from his EO maybe even less. With the Democrats losing the Senate it may even go lower. Obama isn't going to make any waves, he we be fighting to hold on to his Affordable Health Care Act which took 2 years of his 1st Presidency to pass. We all know the Republicans hate Obama care now they have the numbers to repel it. Hold on tight Ladies and Gentleman it's about to get down right ugly on Capitol Hill
