The received date for that person is 7/11/2014 and I'm sure the service center is Nebraska.

What's your timeline? I'm a first time applicant too. I've been waiting 2 months and 4 days so far

I go on the website and enter my application request number, and every time it says that my case could not be found. I already did my biometrics, so I do not think that I have been denied or something. Is anyone else experinceing the same situation? I am using the LIN#10digit that it is asking for, for both the EAD and I821D, but both are not working.

Anyway,
Where was your service center? and what was the receiving date of your application?
Apologies for the late response. I didn't really think anyone would respond to my post.

In response to your questions regarding my adoption:

It is unfortunate that my parents were negligent in securing my citizenship before turning 18. I consulted with several lawyers and experts in international adoption and none of them could assist me. They told me that I could have retroactively benefited from the automatic acquisition of US citizenship through an act called Child Citizenship Act (aka CCA 2000) if my adoptive parents filed a family based petition for me prior to or soon after my arrival to the US. After submitting requests to USCIS , CBP, DHS, no immigration paperwork was on file for me, not even proof that I entered the US legally (like a copy of my I-94 or tourist visa information). My mother lost my passport when I was in high school so I couldn't prove the US stamped it upon entering. Since I couldn't prove that I entered the US legally, DACA became my only option.

Some legal advisors speculate that my parents may not have secured my citizenship because the process was expensive. Others speculate that when I arrived in 1986 at 2 yrs old, the customs process at the airport was very easy. They believe customs just let me enter the US with my mother w/o questioning her since she held a US passport. This would never happen now since international adoption and approval is a very cumbersome process requiring detailed paperwork and hella money.

In response to your questions regarding my DACA approval:

The Arizona lockbox received my packet, but I received the official notification of approval from the Nebraska facility. My application was recorded as received on July 11, 2014.
