After DACA I was able to take out a car loan, get a credit card, pay my own tuition on a payment plan, pay for a lot of things on a monthly basis. I have been on Initial Review since July 23rd and my EAD expires on December 12th. I have received countless emails from HR in my company to provide proof of Employment Authorization or else I will be terminated from my position that I've worked so hard to achieve. It's only getting better from this because I'm due for a promotion this coming month. I have almost 30 days to provide this proof or else I will lose my job, default on car payments, won't be able to drive the car I just bought, won't be able to work, won't be able to pay bills and will go into major debt. It may be a bit early to worry about this but still, you can't help but think about things like this.

Just need to vent...

you can call USCIS and talk to them about the quote below and explain them your situation

"Note: If USCIS is unexpectedly delayed in processing your renewal request, we may provide deferred action and employment authorization for a short period of time until we finish processing your request. We may do this if you filed your request at least 120 days before your current period of deferred action and employment authorization expire."

I actually did that yesterday and their response was robotic and they told me to wait it out til it gets closer to my expiration date. I will be calling them again by thanksgiving if not approved by then. I sent my renewal around the same time as you...

Why? Not that this may be a reason delaying your application but you were supposed to send it at least 120 days prior to expiration day but no more than 150. When exactly did you send it?

" If you submit your request more than 150 days (5 months) before your current period expires, USCIS may reject it and return it to you with instructions to resubmit it closer to the expiration date."

Oh no, when I said around the same time as you, I meant that it was within the same month. But I am definitely aware of that time frame we had to send it, I sent it approximately 143 days before.

Oh no :-/, Sorry to hear......it could be pending security/FBI name checks that's keeping your case for getting a decision, sometimes cases fall in between the cracks and get delayed for many different reasons. Keep your head up. Hope you get approved very soon!

Your posts are coming out of your ass.

Who cares if he made a new thread? Seriously.

Anyway,

For now, try making a service request then wait a whole week. If nothing happens Contact your Ombudsman.

My Initial DACA was received July 21 2014 and I got approved Nov 4.

So if they are processing applicants in the order in which they were received then you might get your approval soon.

But USCIS is known being inconsistent and random with processing applications.

Hang in there !
