I don't think your AP is to blame. USCIS seems to approve applications so randomly I don't know what to say.

My application for renewal was received on July 11, 2014 and I completed my biometrics on August 6, 2014. My EAD expires on 11-9-14 and still in initial review. My application is at the Texas Service Center (TSC). I never used AP and have a clean record, but I cannot figure out why the hold up.

I contacted my Senator and Congresswoman and I was told they are working on it. My attorney did a Ombudsman inquiry and was told they are working on it. I called USCIS numerous times and did an expedite request last Friday, but still no word yet.

I hope they approve all of our DACA and EADs immediately.

Sorry to hear.....but it could be pending security/FBI name checks. :-/hopefully you get approved VERY soon. Sorry to hear about your delay, sometimes cases fall in between the cracks and get delayed for many different reasons. Keep your head up.

Thanks- it's just nerve wrecking. Hopefully ombudsman will get back to me soon, at least!

Call the ombudsman line for them to expedite your request. That's what I did as soon as I filed an app for them. They were really nice and said that they were looking into it. A week later, I was approved.

I also traveled on AP and suspect this is why I was delayed. I actually used AP twice, one for a three-month leave and another for a month.
