DACA was aproved, but my employment app not yet? normal?

pretty much that, my daca was aproved the 3rd of this month! right on time for the 6 month period, but my employment application has not, and in the online status thing it says it was moved to my local office (i received letter that said both app's where moved to california, anyway)

is this normal? that one application takes longer than the other? i am so nervous and exited that i am at least half way there!

You should hear back soon on your EAD. It may be that they didn't update the employment application online and you could actually be getting it soon after you get your DACA approval receipts.

cant tell you for sure as i dont have my paperwork handy but my daca was aproved within their estimations, i think it was about 1 or 2 days past the 6 months time-line, i was pleasantly surprised as i was expecting longer times since i applied just before the renovations took place.
