Hello everyone, I thought I would share my story with you all.

On September 26, 2014 USPS reported to have delivered my EAD (renewal). Long story short I never received it. the following week I filed for EAD replacement and on October 3, 2014 NSC received my case. Believing that I couldn't place a service request to expedite my case, I was informed that I could file for an expedite request by a lawyer. On October 24, 2014 I faxed a service request with supporting document to NSC to expedite my case. The following Wednesday I received a letter in the mail that my expedite request had been approved. And on November 3, 2014 I was approved and card was ordered for production. Since then I have not received my EAD my case remains "card stuck in production." Don't know what to do, initial EAD expired on October 17, 2014 and was terminated from employer the following Monday. Since then I have been stuck at home all day doing nothing, it's depressing. Has anyone had any experience waiting this long for EAD to be mailed out?
Thank You.

ah man! I went through almost the something. My card expired Nov 2, I was approved Oct 28 but did't get till Nov 4 and as a result got fired my job. However, I was able to be rehired back since there was no lapse in employment, well and I made a big deal about it to my employer. I would contact your congressman, they can make an inquiry, also try http://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance and file a claim too. I hope this helps.

Thanks for posting about this! How much did it cost for the lawyer to make the request?

I'm not sure what all the routes are but I would call USCIS to see if you can get more info.

My initial daca went into card production nov 4 and i got my card on nov 17. There has been some delays after the update on their website. Hang in there give it until next week. If you don't receive anything by dec 4 call them up and talk to a lvl 2 representative/immigration officer. Because like what it says on your case status, you have to wait 30 days after your case went into card production to be able to do something if you do not receive your card within that timeline.

Good luck !

I received my EAD on November 17, 2014. 14 days after approval.

Also, I didn't need a lawyer. Service request's are free of charge, but I did had to pay $465 for my EAD replacement.
