I know the feeling. My sister and I were offered a scholarship at our university and then they withdrew the offer when they found out about our status. Funnily enough, we were then offered a scholarship that was need based, but we had to be from a Spanish-speaking country.

We're Jamaican, so that didn't workout out either.

We were lucky enough to be granted in-state tuition based on the fact that we had a family petition file with USCIS and were were listed as beneficiaries on it. My parents paid my tuition for some time and then everything snow balled with Jessica Colotl here in Georgia and we were barred from our school.

Wow this is HORRIFIC and I am completely mortified and embarrassed for Georgia. What a shithole state! I'm sorry that you went thru that and I hope things got better for you.

Went to a CUNY in new york city, which if you find the right form offers immigrants in state tuition. I did all my courses two days a week, and the worked every other day except Saturdays. I graduated with out a cent in debt, although it did take an extra year and half which was fine seeing it that i didnt have the benefit of DACA anyways, so their was no rush. Hope that helps, but what ever state school your looking into, do your research because their are hidden benefits such as the one i found and i happen to stumble upon it by accident( saved me half the tuition i would have paid.)
