Guys..
so are we supposed to get any document when we submit the forms?
I got receipt for biometrics but thats it. Are we supposed to get those green forms from uscis like the ones we get when we get our case approved??

You mean the green slip from post office that someone has signed for your packet delivery?

No.. that green uscis letter... not really green but like that formal document uscis sends..

For renewal, I sent all of it in (regular paper and official acceptance), but as photocopies.

EDIT: You don't get those approval "green" paper/letters until you get approved. The rest are just regular photocopy paper.

No. You do not get any other notices until your case is approved where you do the the green approval form.

You mean the reciepts? Everyone here received receipts telling that your packet has ren accepted and routed to the service center they chose and with that comes the case numbers. However, I wouldn't worry about those as they aren't really important, you have your case numbers with the biometrics, and your approval are much more important
